All,
Today we are going to do something different. While there is no update from me personally on the animated episodes, we do have another 'animated' special for you. Technically, it could be considered another episode of Farragut.
Kail Tescar, associate producer of the animated episodes, has taken some of the 'cels' that he has created and produced a full length comic book of Starship Farragut. Entitled "Dearly Departed", it finally explains WHY Prescott decided to leave the Farragut. I won't give anything away, but I am rather impressed with this story and its resolution.
It is still considered 'beta' at this point. There are some 'Easter eggs' in it that you are free to discuss here....see if you can find them all!

Enjoy, and congratulations to Kail and Farragut....Carter and his crew are the new 'kings of all media' with episodes spanning live-action, animated, and comic book formats!

Very "Star Trek" and a very nice way to tell the missing tale. I like it when everyone comes out true to their characters and the departure was very in-character. The story has great moments all around and I feel I got to know these people even more, which is always a great achievement!
I loved it!

Very cool! A good read and interesting to know "why" Prescott left the USS Farragut.
But wasn`t he Security Chief?
I doubt an Officer who was in a position like him would acknowledge a demotion and serve under a young Lieutenant like Pavel Chekov.
